This is a uniquely different and exciting event with plenty of interaction throughout the day.  The event provides an opportunity for health and social care staff to contribute to the prevention of infections in an integrated care system.

The event takes a person-centred approach and focuses on a person's journey following a healthcare associated infection, infection prevention and control in practice and implementation.

INFORM ..
listen to dynamic and innovative speakers talk about infection prevention and control, implementation in practice and the impact this has on patient safety.

ENGAGE ..
through a scenario acted live on the day depicting a person's journey.  Helen's Story presents the life transforming consequences of contracting an infection, challenging the audience to consider the human cost of HAIs.

INTERACT ..
get involved in the day and respond to challenging questions using digital voting and discover what your colleagues think.

The events are free of charge and lunch is provided.
