National Carers Strategy Learning and Sharing Event Tuesday 17 February 2015

You are invited to attend the National Carers Strategy Learning and Sharing Event on 17 February 2015 at Stirling Court Hotel, previously Stirling Managment Centre and we are delighted to announce that the day will include a Ministerial address.

We are continuing to implement the Carers and Young Carers Strategy and want to learn and share what has worked well in achieving positive outcomes for carers and young carers. 

The overarching focus of the event is “evidencing the impact and outcomes of good practice.

Themes:

  • Taking an outcomes approach to best practice initiatives focussing on outcomes for carers
  • Learning and sharing from evidenced good practice initiatives from across Scotland
  • Evaluation report from the Equal Partners in Care (EPiC) pilot sites
  • Supporting young carers through education and training initiatives
  • Short breaks, carer respite initiatives
  • Carer support planning

The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), will be awarding Open Badges to participants and attendees in line with their current pilot.

By registering you are only indicating that you are interested and available to attend this event and does not guarantee a place. Places will be allocated and you will be notified if you have a place as soon as possible after the closing date. To ensure a geographic spread and even distribution of participants from all sectors we may have to limit spaces.
