Carl Thomson is Director of The Whitehouse Consultancy, a specialist public affairs and political communications agency. Whitehouse has many years’ experience of working with the Department of Health, the NHS and the legislation and regulations that affect health and social care in the UK, and has supported organisations as diverse as Pancreatic Cancer UK, the Urology Trade Association, Virgin Care, MAXIMUS and the National Aids Trust. Carl has worked with the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists and helped establish the Alliance for Patient Safety to campaign for statutory regulation of healthcare professionals.
