David Thomson is Deputy Director for Primary Care at the Scottish Government, working to ensure that GPs, Optometrists, NHS 24 and the Scottish Ambulance Service play a full part in health and social care. David was previously  head of food and drink policy and has worked in many different parts of the Scottish Government including children’s legislation and promoting equality.
