Isla Abel is a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist working as Education and Training Manager for NHS Lothian. Previously, Isla worked in NHS Grampian as a Biomedical Scientist in the Medical Microbiology department, laterally taking up a role in setting up and acting as Team Lead in the North Regional Covid Laboratory in Aberdeen. Isla is also keen in promoting all things STEM and has been involved in a number of early years and secondary school level programmes across Scotland.
