Senior Biomedical Scientist

Laura is the Senior Biomedical Scientist in the Reproductive Medicine Laboratory in the Edinburgh Fertility & Reproductive Endocrine Centre (EFREC).

She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biomedical Science from Glasgow Caledonian University and worked in a variety of diagnostic laboratories as well as research before moving into fertility and starting in EFREC as a Biomedical Scientist in 2013.

In addition to training in diagnostic andrology and semen cryopreservation, one of her main tasks was developing the new sperm donor service for NHS Lothian.
