Lisa has worked in infection control since 1998, initially at NHS Dumfries and Galloway Health Board, then at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary and since 2009, at Health Protection Scotland.  Lisa’s main areas of work are the development of infection prevention and control guidance, including the development of the National Infection Prevention and Control Manual for Scotland; use of improvement methodology to optimise implementation of infection control guidance; and the development and maintenance of an HAI Compendium of guidance.  Lisa is currently undertaking a PhD at GlasgowCaledonianUniversity.
