Academy for Healthcare Science Regulation Council

Patricia worked in the NHS and became a clinical teacher, tutor and principal lecturer for students of Health and Social Care. She has worked as an Assistant Director in the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, Director of a UK statutory regulator for postgraduate medical education and Special Adviser to the GMC Postgraduate Board.

Consultancy work includes working with the Modernising Scientific Careers team in relation to standards, quality and equivalence.

Patricia has been Lay Chair of the Regulation Council for healthcare scientists (those who are not statutorily regulated) at the Academy for Healthcare Science for nearly three years. She is also a Trustee at AgeUK Gloucestershire and Chair of Governors at the local primary school.
