HAI Quality Improvement Facilitator

Scottish Ambulance Service

Sharon was appointed as HAI Quality Improvement Facilitator with the Scottish Ambulance Service on a seconded position in January 2014.  Career to date has been within the Health service since 1993 and has held a few different positions ranging from Laboratory staff within NHS Lanarkshire to Ambulance Patient Transport crew member.  Currently working within the Infection Control Department with the Scottish Ambulance Service and has been a member of that team for approximately 5 years. 

Currently working on many improvement projects in the service, which will ultimately help to protect the patient from the risk of Healthcare Associated Infection.
