Vera works as a Principal Clinical Scientist in the West of Scotland Centre for Genomic Medicine in Glasgow. Vera is one of the managers overseeing the germline section which is responsible for testing a variety of genetic inherited conditions. In addition, Vera has also been involved in number of different development projects within the department including the implementation of next-generation sequencing services. Vera’s career in diagnostics started in 2010 when she began her STP training. Vera secured funding for her Higher Specialist Scientist Training in 2020.
